Patrick J R McHaffey

Non-Executive Chairman

Pat McHaffey, is one of our senior professionals, with an eye for what makes a business succeed.

With years in the business, Patrick has seen it all - and has led the company on its path to success.

A former Fleet Air Arm officer, Patrick McHaffey was Lord Hanson’s personalhelicopter pilot for 29 years and Chief

Executive of Air Hanson from 1970 until its sale in September 1999.

Patrick's key focus has always been on personal service the core structure for our business and over the past six years, he has established sustainable relationships with a number of organisations in the UK and former CIS, where he now acts as an aviation advisor on aircraft acquisition and disposal.

Nicholas McHaffey

VP Global Sales

Having recently been the Sales Director for Airbus ACJ in the Middle East where he headed up the sales of the full range of new Airbus BizJets to customers.

 

Previously he was the Global Head of the pre-owned worldwide sales department at ExecuJet Aviation Group which had a team of 20 Sales Directors spread Worldwide.  During his 6 years with the company he achieved record sales and he was instrumental in developing the company's pre-owned sales strategy and marketing.

 

Prior to this, he worked at Euro Aircraft Trading and helped to form Air Hanson Aircraft Trading and finally headed up the sales office for Farnborough Aviation Sales.

 

A marketing expert and one of the most creative thinkers in the fragmented, fast-changing world of pre-owned sales, he helped develop the software that gave Viation its edge in sourcing aircraft or finding buyers, adding the key dimension of comparability to availability for a proper match of need, price and specification.

 

His background is in the large corporate jet market, specialising in Bombardier Challengers, and Global models.

 

A focussed, achiever who thinks out of the box with a can do attitude.

Daniel Hendry  

Finacial Controller

Daniel Hendry spent a number of years with Hanson Plc before being offered the opportunity to join Air Hanson in 1988 as the Financial Controller with a team of 9 staff for the Air Hanson Group of Companies.

As well as being responsible for all the financial reporting, Daniel worked alongside the Directors in developing Air Hanson’s commercial activities including all new business opportunities.

 

Daniel has continued his association with aviation and has assisted in the role of Financial Controller for MasterJet UK, Viation and Integers Aviation.

 

Daniel acted as Finance Manager for two Independent Insurance Brokers, and assisted both Companies with their exit strategy of selling the business to a major Insurance Company.

 

Daniel has provided Financial Controller services to a Jersey Holding Company that managed ownership of 7 German Care Homes.

 

Daniel currently acts as Financial Consultant for various Holding Companies that own 3 UK Care Homes.

In addition he manages the Financial Reporting for a Property Portfolio and an Ocean Container Leasing Business for his Clients.

Daniel is a resourceful and highly organised financially trained Manager and a disciplined communicator with a great ability to get the 

Daniel has an analytical mind and able to think strategically, and throughout his Managerial roles he has experience of implementing plans in a wide variety of business situations.

Daniel is both a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants and Public Accountants.
